Le Mars finished second with a 410 behind champion Sioux City East’s 396 at the Sioux City East Invitational.  Callie Anderson of East was medalist with an 89.  Rachel Trammell led Le Mars with a 96, good for third place, Emily Pick shot a 103, Steph Betsworth a 104 and Rachel Heuertz a 107.  Non-counters, Megan Betsworth 109 and Karly Hoss a 111.

SATURDAY RESULTS – May 1

Le Mars finished 7th in the Storm Lake Invitational.  Kuemper won the team title with a 311 with Spencer finishing second with a 327.  There were twelve teams in the field.  Spencer’s Jay Monahan was medalist with a 75.  Le Mars’ Tanner Dowling shot an 80 and earned ninth place.  Michael Brandenburg had an 85, Eric Cline shot a 92 and Austin Price a 94 to round out the Bulldogs’ scoring.  Non-counting scores, Parker Rolfes with a 96 and Keaton Alons with a 112.

Le Mars finished third at the Lakes Conference meet in Le Mars.  Spirit Lake won the team title with 17 points with Estherville/Lincoln Central finishing second with 16.  Le Mars had 15 points.  The Lady Bulldogs number one singles player, Natalie Miller took first while Erica Westhoff was third in number two singles.  In doubles play, Molly Fischer and Carolyn Ahlers took third in number one doublesand Stephanie Young and Catie Meis took second in number two doubles.

Le Mars finished second behind Spencer at the Lakes Conference meet in Spencer.  Spencer tallied 16 points while Le Mars finished with 13.  Mike Ahlers earned all-conference honors at number one singles while Brian Kehm was honorable mention at number two singles.
