Galen E. Ducommun, 78, of Marcus, Iowa, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2011, at the Mayo Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2011, at the Grace United Methodist Church in Marcus, Iowa, with the Rev. Robert Blair officiating. A private family gathering and inurnment will be in the Marcus-Amherst Cemetery, prior to Galen’s service. Military respects will be provided by the F.I Goodburn-American Legion Post #517 of Marcus.
