Alvin G. “Duke” Schulz, 77, of Le Mars, Iowa passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Plymouth Manor Care Center in Le Mars. A Memorial Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars. The Rev. James Strickland of the Church of the Nazarene will officiate. Burial will follow at a later date at Hillsidde Cemetery in Merrill, Iowa. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
