Gerald “Jerry” F. Probst, 84, of Le Mars passed away on Friday, August 15, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 18 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Le Mars. Father Richard Sitzmann will celebrate Mass. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars with military honors provided by Wasmer Post #241 of the American Legion. Visitation will begin at 2:00 on Sunday, August 17th with a Knights of Columbus rosary at 4 and a scriptural prayer service at 7, all at the St. Joseph Catholic Church. There will be one hour of visitation prior to Mass on Monday at the church. The Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home is assisting Jerry’s family with arrangements.
