Twyla D. Nore, 93, of Merrill, passed away at home on Friday, August 5, 2016 surrounded by her family. Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at St. John Lutheran Church in Merrill, Iowa. Rev. Bert Burwell will officiate. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Merrill. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Monday August 8, 2016 at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars. The family will be present from 5-7 p.m. There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the funeral service on Tuesday. Twyla’s grandsons will be her pallbearers.
