(Le Mars) — The Le Mars Chamber of Commerce welcomed a new bank to town with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held Tuesday morning. The new bank is the Iowa State Bank with its location at 301 Plymouth Street NW. The Iowa State Bank is occupying the location of what was the Great Southern Bank. Although, new to Le Mars, the Iowa State Bank is not new to the area. The bank has locations at Remsen and at Craig within Plymouth County, and several other locations including Orange City, Sheldon, Ireton, Sanborn, Paullina, and Hull. Bank officials say they are excited to be in Le Mars and look forward to offering financial services to the community.
