Kathleen E. “Kay” Bogenrief, 97, of rural Merrill, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Village in Le Mars. Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 28, 2017 at Merrill Melbourne United Methodist Church, rural Merrill, Iowa. Rev. Kolleen Queener will officiate. Burial will follow at Floyd Valley Cemetery, rural Merrill, Iowa. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at the Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars. The family will be present from 5-7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the funeral service on Monday.
