(Le Mars) — An estimated 600 people is said to have visited the Floyd Valley Healthcare “Well Aware Health Fair” held Wednesday afternoon at the Le Mars Convention Center. Attendees checked out the more than 50 vendors with
information about healthy living. Kari Daale, Floyd Valley Education Coordinator says nearly 300 people rolled up their sleeve to receive their annual flu vaccine shot. Visitors to the Health Fair had the opportunity to inspect the new
ambulance for the Le Mars Ambulance Services, while Mercy Medical Center was able to bring the Mercy Air Care helicopter for visitors to examine.
