(Le Mars) — A farm related accident, involving a skid loader bucket that had fallen on the victim, occurred Saturday afternoon at about 2:45 p.m. The accident was reported on Iris Avenue, about three-quarters of a mile north of Highway 3, or about a mile west of Brunsville. When first responders arrived at
the scene, the victim was already out from underneath the bucket. The victim was initially transported to Floyd Valley Healthcare, then transferred to a Sioux City hospital. Responding to the accident were the Le Mars Fire and Rescue
Department, Le Mars Ambulance, and the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities have identified the victim as 43-year old Stanley Kreinert Jr. of Sioux City. The driver of the skid loader was the victim’s father, Stanley Kreinert Sr. The victim is recovering at a local hospital and is in stable condition.
