Oscar Dominic Block, 97, of Remsen, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at Bavarian Meadows in Remsen, Iowa.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, May 25, 10:30 am, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Remsen, with the Fr. William McCarthy officiating, Fr. Craig Collison concelebrating and Deacon Rick Roder assisting. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Remsen. Graveside military honors will be conducted by V.F.W. Post 3328 and American Legion Post 220 of Remsen.
Visitation with family present will be Thursday from 4-7 p.m. There will be a Knights of Columbus rosary and a vigil prayer service at 5p.m. all at Fisch Funeral Home & Monument in Remsen. Expressions of sympathy can be sent online to www.fischfh.com.
