Daniel Lawrence Penning, 73, of Remsen passed away on August 3 surrounded by his family following a brief illness of cancer. He is now home with Janet, the love of his life.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018 at St. John’s Lutheran Church ELCA in LeMars, IA with Pastor Jean Ziettlow and Pastor Chris Meier officiating. Burial will follow in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery at Craig, IA. Visitation with family present will be 5-7 p.m. Monday with a prayer service at 7 p.m. all at Fisch Funeral Home & Monument in Remsen, IA.
Visitation will resume 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
