Total Motors Donates To Breast Cancer Victims

(Le Mars) — With October being Breast Cancer Awareness month, Total Motors in Le Mars was able to make another strong effort for the second year in a row to make strides against breast cancer. Total Motors’ Marketing Manager Mitch Christoffel says, “We knew right at the end of last year’s fundraiser that we were going to do it again in 2018.” Total Motors donated $100 for
every vehicle that they sold during the month of October. Christoffel stated, “The impact it made last year was amazing, we are very happy that we were able to hit our goal and match last years $10,000.” Total Motors requested nominations for anyone who currently has or had breast cancer and
could benefit financially. Christoffel says, “Once again we saw a lot of support for individuals who are in the fight against breast cancer, showing these people they are not in this fight alone. There are a lot of caring people far and near who are thinking about each of them.”

Last week, Total Motors contacted three selected individuals and presented the checks to them along with the individuals who nominated them. The last check presentation was to Floyd Valley Healthcare on Saturday, November 10th at the Convention Center during their Treasure Your Chest event. The three
individuals were Cindy Roosa (Le Mars, IA), Randi Langel (Le Mars, IA), and Kimber Kleinhesselink (Alton, IA).

Total Motors presented Floyd Valley Healthcare with two checks, one for $2,000 toward their 3-D Mammography machine and another check for $2,000 for screening assistance for anyone who
can’t afford screenings in Le Mars. Christoffel says, “Total Motors is happy to support breast cancer awareness in such a big way for the second year in a row. We hope to continue our efforts in making strides against breast cancer”
