(Le Mars) — If you have missed having a famous hot dog from Bob’s Drive Inn, and you would like to help the Le Mars Little League, then you are in luck as today is the “Taste of Summer.” The annual event raises money for the Le Mars Little League program. “Taste of Summer” benefits the Le Mars Little League.
Kass says this year’s “Taste of Summer” fundraising event is especially important since the Le Mars Little League facilities, equipment, and uniforms were damaged as a result of the last September flooding.
In years past, the annual event was held at the Le Mars American Legion Hall, but this year, as was the case from last year, the “Taste of Summer” will be held at Bob’s Drive Inn.
Kass says the “Taste of Summer” on average, sells around 1000 hot dogs.
