(Le Mars) — This past Saturday, officials with the Le Mars Community School District held a fund raiser for the new stadium renovation project.
Entitled: “Fill the Pillars”, the program was held at Total Motors of Le Mars. Officials indicate the fund raising campaign was successful.
Donations are still coming in, but school superintendent Dr. Steve Webner says Saturday’s event proved to be beneficial for the stadium renovation project.
The school superintendent says once the stadium and field are completed, it will host several other activities in addition to football.
The stadium will be known as the Le Mars Community Stadium, with both schools able to utilize the facilities.
