(Le Mars) — A new record was set with donations contributed to the Life Skills Training Center through the Knights of Columbus annual phone-a-thon held yesterday. Shelly Thomson with Life Skills Training Center is grateful for the generosity expressed by the people of Plymouth County.
The Life Skills representative says there is still a lot of work that needs to be done.
Thomson says the people of Plymouth County tend to open their hearts when it comes to Life Skills, and she offers an explanation as to the reasons for their generosity.
People who were not able to donate to Life Skills during Wednesday’s phone-a-thon can still drop off donations to your local bank.
