(Le Mars) — The six authors of the popular Le Mars Sesquicentennial History Book held a book signing ceremony Thursday evening at the Le Mars Public Library. People stood in line waiting for Steve Collins, Iris Hemmingson, Rich Zietlow, Mary Reynolds, Wayne Marty and Linda Mayrose to sign their name to the Sesquicentennial History Book. Collins says there were 1000 copies of the Le Mars history book that were printed. It is estimated the authors signed nearly 50 of the copies of the history book during the reception. Some of the authors had written to the book holder to “enjoy reading about Le Mars’ history.”
