Local Auto Dealership Calls Attention To Breast Cancer

(Le Mars) — October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Total Motors of Le Mars and Orange City is calling attention to the disease by having its employees wear pink during each Friday in October.  In addition, Total Motors is asking for nominations of people who either presently have breast cancer, or have been previously diagnosed with breast cancer.  The local auto dealership is contributing $100 for every vehicle sold during October towards breast cancer research, education, and for families stricken with breast cancer who could use some financial assistance. Last year, Total Motors donated $6,000 to area residents that were diagnosed with breast cancer, and they contributed $2,000 to Floyd Valley Healthcare for the purchase of a 3-D Mammography scanner.
