Sandy Hedum, age 66, of Akron, Iowa, (formerly of Castana, Iowa) passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2019, at the UnityPoint Health–St. Luke’s of Sioux City, IA.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, October 11, 2019, at the Armstrong – Van Houten Funeral Home of Mapleton, IA. Rev. Jena Finch-Manchester will officiate. Committal Services will follow at the Kennabec Cemetery of Castana, Iowa.
