Curt Lewison, 87, of Akron, Iowa passed away Monday, September 17, 2012 at his home in Akron.  Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, E.L.C.A. in Akron.  Reverend Dawn Quame will officiate.  Burial with military rites will be in Riverside Cemetery in Akron.  Visitation will be after 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2012 with the family present after 6:00 p.m.  and a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. all at Carlsen Funeral Home - Schroeder Chapel in Akron.  Expressions of sympathy can be extended to the family through www.carlsenfuneralhome.com.
