Ronald R. “Ron” Hansen, 76, of Le Mars, Iowa, passed away early Thursday morning, November 4, 2010, at the Good Samaritan Society in Le Mars, Iowa. A “Celebration of Life” memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 12, 2010, at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars with the Rev. Kenneth Koth officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home, from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. on November 12, 2010. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Richard Duncan, 78, of Le Mars passed away Monday, November 8, 2010 at the Happy Siesta Care Center in Remsen, Iowa. Funeral service will be 7:00 p.m. Sunday, November 14, 2010 at the Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars with Reverend Jason Larson of the Le Mars United Methodist Church officiating. Private Interment with Military Honors provided by the Wasmer American Legion post #241 of Le Mars will be Monday at Memorial Cemetery in Le Mars. Evelyn Small, 89, of Akron, Iowa passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Countryside Senior Living in Sioux City, Iowa. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 13, 2010 at First Baptist Church in Akron, Iowa. Pastor Mike Avery will officiate. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Akron, Iowa. Visitation will be after 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 12, 2010, with the family present after 5:00 p.m., and a Prayer service at 7:00 p.m., all at the church.
