Peggy Searls, 86, of Akron, Iowa passed away Sunday, December 19, 2010 at the Akron Care Center in Akron, Iowa.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 23, 2010 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Akron, Iowa. Monsignor Richard Zenk will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Akron. Visitation will be after 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2010, with the family present after 6:00 p.m., with a Scriptural Wake Service at 7:00 p.m., followed by a Parish Rosary, all at Carlsen Funeral Home – Schroeder Chapel in Akron, Iowa. Raymond Arens, 85, of Le Mars passed away Sunday, December 19, 2010 at the Touchstone Living Center in Sioux City, Iowa. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at St. James Catholic Church in Le Mars with Reverend Matt Hewitt officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Alton, Iowa. Carrie Morris, 80, of rural Akron, Iowa passed away Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa.   Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Carlsen Funeral Home – Schroeder Chapel in Akron, Iowa.  Pastor Mary Feistner of St. Paul Lutheran Church, rural Elk Point, South Dakota will officiate.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Akron, Iowa.  Visitation will be after 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 21, 2010, with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., all at the funeral home.
