Dorothy Meis, 88, of Arvada, CO and formerly of LeMars, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly from heart failure on Friday, September 10, 2010 at Exempla Lutheran Hospital in Arvada, Colorado.
Visitation will be on Friday, September 17, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars with the family present to greet friends, followed by the rosary at 4:00 p.m. and a 7:00 p.m. Scriptural Wake Service. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at St. James Catholic Church in Le Mars with Father Matt Hewitt officiating.
