Esther M. Swanson, 97, of Akron passed away Friday, October 1, 2010 at the Akron Care Center in Akron, Iowa. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Akron, Iowa with Reverend Dawn Quame officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery. Visitations will be after 3:00 p.m. Monday, October 4, 2010 at the Carlsen Funeral Home, Schroeder Chapel in Akron with the family present to greet friends after 5:00 p.m. followed by a 7:00 p.m. Prayer Service.
