Peggy Searls, 86, of Akron, Iowa passed away Sunday, December 19, 2010 at the Akron Care Center in Akron, Iowa. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 23, 2010 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Akron, Iowa. Monsignor Richard Zenk will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Akron. Visitation will be after 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2010, with the family present after 6:00 p.m., with a Scriptural Wake Service at 7:00 p.m., followed by a Parish Rosary, all at Carlsen Funeral Home – Schroeder Chapel in Akron, Iowa.
