Mr. Bernard Bakker, age 83, of Sioux Center, formerly of Hull, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2011, at the Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City. There will be a funeral service on Tuesday, February 1, at 10:00am, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in rural Hull. The Rev. Steven Mehl and Ryan Hoekstra will officiate. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00pm on Monday, with the family present from 5:00pm to 7:30pm, at the church.
