Vernon Pageler, 77, of Le Mars passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at his home following a brief illness. Funeral services will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Craig, Iowa. Burial will follow at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Craig. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 20 at the Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars. The family will be present from 6-8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. There will also be one hour of visitation at the church on Saturday prior to the funeral service.
