(LeMars) — Voters say yes to the Instructional Support Levy and its Murphy and Stelzer In Again…
With over 1000 votes cast for the LeMars School District Board of Education election, officials are saying the election had a good voter turnout. This time around voters approved the Instructional Support Levy with 961 votes in favor, and 852 against.
Four candidates were vying for the two At-Large positions, and returning to the board for another term will be Dr. Mark Stelzer who led all candidates with 1004 votes, and Patrick Murphy who garnered 903 votes. Mark Frentress received 697 votes and Merlin Wagner received 648 votes.
