Sylvia Fischer, 69, of Hinton, Iowa passed away on Friday, November 23, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church, rural Hinton, Iowa. Rev. Steven Stoll will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City, Iowa. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 26, 2012 at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars. The family will be present from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service scheduled at 7:00 p.m. There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the funeral service on Tuesday.
