(Le Mars)- A Le Mars man is sporting a new hair dew today thanks to fundraising efforts. Ray Wilkens of Le Mars helped raise funds for a mural that will be featured on the west wall of the American Legion Club in Le Mars. The mural will depict scenes from World War I, World War II, the Korean conflict, Viet Nam and the Persian Gulf war. Retired barber Don Curry was enlisted to preform the hair-ectamy. The task took about an hour. Over $2100 was raised.
