(Le Mars) — What was originally scheduled as the day the Joy Hollow log cabin was to be moved from the fairgrounds to the Plymouth County Historical Museum has encountered a delay. The cabin is currently sitting on dollies and a truck ready for the move across town. However, when the anticipated time came for the cabin to be moved yesterday, it was discovered that some of the proper permits had not yet been approved, and tree limbs along the route were still needing to be trimmed to allow the cabin to pass without any damage. Museum officials are hopeful the cabin can be moved yet this week. Stay tuned, and we will let you know when we learn of the moving date and time.
