(Le Mars) — Local authorities responded to a two-vehicle accident located on Business Highway 75 and 18th Street Southwest. The accident happened at about 2:35 p.m. A van, driven by Margaret Grosenheider of Le Mars, was traveling in the inside lane heading southbound on Business Highway 75, and was making a left hand turn onto 18th street. A 2005 Chevy Impala with a Nebraska license plate, driven by 17 year old Kailey Bledsoe collided with the van causing the van to roll on to its side. A passenger with Bledsoe was also injured in the mishap. The passenger was 16 year old Alex Lundeen of Dakota City, Nebraska. Three people were transported to Floyd Valley Hospital with what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries. Responding to the accident were the Le Mars Fire and Rescue Department, the Le Mars Ambulance, Le Mars Police Department, Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department, and the Iowa State Patrol. Fire and rescue personnel had to help with the clean up of the debris left after the collision.
