(Le Mars) — Law officers from the Le Mars Police Department, Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, and the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office conducted a tactical weapons training session at a vacant house in Le Mars. Officers entered the house looking for a person who was hiding. Officers often times use a small robot equipped with a miniature camera to better assist them in locating the suspect. K-9 dogs were also used during the training session. The law enforcement officers train at least once a month.
