Rev. Gary P. Landsness, 63, of Le Mars, Iowa passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, January 17, 2020. Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Le Mars. Rev. Chris Meier will officiate. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at the Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars. The family will be present to greet friends from 5-7 p.m. with a prayer service scheduled at 7:00 p.m. There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the funeral service on Thursday.
