(Le Mars) — A two-vehicle rear-end collision occurred at the intersection of South Business Highway 75 and 24th Street Wednesday afternoon, causing traffic to be backed up for a few minutes while authorities investigated and cleaned up the debris. The accident was reported at about 2:47 p.m. Traffic on Business Highway 75 was down to one-lane of alternating travel for nearly a half an hour. Officials on the scene say there was one person that had suffered only minor injuries as a result of the collision. Responding to the accident were the Le Mars Ambulance Services, Le Mars Fire and Rescue Department, and the Le Mars Police Department. Le Mars Police is conducting the accident investigation. No report as of yet to the identities of those involved with the accident.
