Today Is National Day Of Prayer

(Le Mars) — Today is recognized as National Day of Prayer. Le Mars will be holding a local program at the Olson Cultural Event Center to acknowledge the importance of this day. Pastor Dan Krause serves as the pastor for the Rock Solid Assembly church and will be this year’s emcee for the program. Krause
says National Day of Prayer has a long history.

Krause says in addition of the gathering praying for our nation, they will also focus on local issues of interest in prayer.

Krause says last year’s event was held virtually due to the COVID-19 virus.
He says it is good to make a return for the annual event. However, as a precaution of the COVID virus, this year’s event will be held outdoors.

The local program will begin at 11:30 a.m. and according to Pastor Krause, lunch will be served to those gathered in prayer. Krause offers an insight as to what will occur at the local “day of prayer” program.

This year’s theme is “Lord, Pour Out Your Love, Life, and Liberty.” Krause explains what is meant by the chosen theme.
