(Le Mars) — This is National Hospitals Appreciation Week, and Floyd Valley Healthcare is acknowledging the importance by hosting a “drive through” Chamber Coffee. Floyd Valley will hand out their famous rolls along with a cup of coffee to those people that attend the drive through event. Ann Cole-Nelson, the Community Relations Director with Floyd Valley Healthcare
talks about the traffic pattern to obtain the roll and coffee.

The Chamber coffee at Floyd Valley will will continue until 10:30 a.m. Floyd Valley Healthcare has been fortunate to be recognized during the past few years as one of the nation’s top rural hospitals. Cole-Nelson highlights some of the recent awards, honors, and accolades bestowed upon Floyd Valley Healthcare.

The Floyd Valley Healthcare official says people often only think of doctors and nurses when they think of their local hospital, but Cole-Nelson reminds us that Floyd Valley employs hundreds of people, many of which are not directly health related, but still important to have a successful hospital.

National Hospital Appreciation week continues through Friday.
