(Le Mars) — On Sunday, RAGBRAI riders left Le Mars for an 85 mile journey to Sac City, the home of the World’s Largest Popcorn Ball. By mid-morning most of the bikers had departed Le Mars. Many of the bikers took the opportunity to stop at Remsen, the first community along the route after Le Mars, to take a break, and enjoy breakfast. When the bicyclists were leaving Le Mars, a few people had gathered at the Floyd Valley Healthcare parking lot to wave good-bye to our guests and wish them a safe ride.
