(Le Mars) — We continue our conversation with U-S Republican Congressman Randy Feenstra. Feenstra who represents northwest Iowa was attending the Plymouth County Fair on Sunday. The renewable fuels industry with ethanol and biodiesel has again been under attack with the U-S Supreme Court handing down a ruling saying petroleum refiners can proceed with waiver applications from blending ethanol with gasoline, and the Court of Circuit Appeals had a ruling that would prevent E-15 or 15 percent of ethanol to be used all year long. Feenstra was asked if Congress can do anything to assist the renewable fuels industry.
