Verle D. Allen, 85, of Le Mars, Iowa, passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021, at Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars following a brief illness. A Memorial Service will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Le Mars. Rev. Christian Meier will officiate. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at the Mauer Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars. The family will be present from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the memorial service on Thursday.
