Airplane Crashes Near Kingsley – No Injuries

(Kingsley) — On Monday afternoon at about 3:12 p.m. Plymouth County Communications was advised of a small plane that had crashed.  This occurred near the intersection on county road C-66 and Tamarack Avenue approximately five miles east of Kingsley.  Kingsley Fire and Ambulance along with the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office, Woodbury County Sheriff’s Office, and the Iowa State Patrol responded to the scene.  The pilot and his passenger were not injured in the crash.  The plane was located upside down about 75 yards into a corn field.  Law enforcement has been in contact with the Sioux City tower and FAA.  The scene will be secured pending their investigation.  There were no injuries and only two on board.
