(Le Mars) — Le Mars Fire and Rescue Department were summoned to a house that was on fire Friday afternoon. The alarm was sounded at approximately 3:25 p.m. Firefighters were called to a ranch-style home located at 1205 1st Street SE. Upon arrival, firefighters could see smoke coming from the home. Firefighters were able to rescue at least one cat that was inside the structure.
