Katie Arkema, head instructor at The Turn Around Dance & Gymnastics, was honored Saturday as the LeMars Area Chamber of Commerce 2022 May Employee of the Month.
Katie had 12 years of dance instruction, was a dance teacher, and became an alumna at The Turn Around. She has been an exemplary employee throughout the years. She’s always levelheaded, wonderful with students, and has a great sense of humor.
And she is also a licensed physical therapist! But the job at The Turn Around allows her to express her creativity, and to work with children.
It’s only fitting Katie should be honored with her dance students in attendance.
