COMBINED EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM TRAINING
The Combined Emergency Response Team (CERT) held a training session today, which included the use of their new emergency response vehicle. The vehicle, called a Bearcat, was delivered to the Plymouth County Sheriffs Office this summer. It was manufactured by Lenco Industries of Massachusetts. Members of the CERT Team have been trained in use of the Bearcat, and today they carried out field exercises using the vehicle. CERT is made up of members of the Plymouth County Sheriffs Office, Le Mars Police Department, the Sioux County Sheriffs Offices, the Cherokee County Sheriffs Office, and Cherokee Police.
