Mike Gengler, 84, of Le Mars, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at MercyOne Siouxland Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 12, 2023, at All Saints Catholic Parish – St. James Church in Le Mars. Father Douglas Klein will celebrate Mass. Father Bruce Lawler will concelebrate. Burial with military honors provided by the Wasmer American Legion Post 241 of Le Mars will be at Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars, Iowa. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Le Mars. The family will be present from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. There will be Parish Rosary at 4:00 p.m. and a Scriptural Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will resume from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Thursday at St. James Catholic Church in Le Mars.
