Schultze Announced as November Hot Shot
Mason Schultze, 6 year-old son of Mitchell and Mindi Schultze, has been named the Hot Shot for November 24th. Mason is a fun-loving boy that loves watching the Sioux City Musketeers, playing outside and spending time with family.
Mason presented to the Floyd Valley Emergency Department while having a seizure. It was a scary time for his parents as FVH staffed cared for and stabilized him for transfer to a higher-level facility for advanced care. Mason was diagnosed with epilepsy. In addition to seeing a specialist in Sioux Falls, Mason continues his local care with Dr. Parmelee.
Please join us in celebrating Mason, our November Hot Shot!
The Sioux City Musketeers, in partnership with Floyd Valley Healthcare (FVH) began the Hot Shots program in 2018. This program was created with the goal of honoring FVH pediatric patients who have chronic health issues. We are excited to give children an opportunity to have a fun time with their family, cheer on the team and just enjoy being a kid for a night.
