FLOYD VALLEY FOUNDATION BENEFIT GOLF TOURNAMENT
The 27th Annual Helping Children Benefit Golf Tournament was held at The Willow Creek Golf Course in Le Mars, IA. The event was once again sponsored by the Floyd Valley Foundation and chaired by Shane and Peggy Sitzmann of Le Mars.
The Golf benefit grossed over 30-thousand dollars. Many area businesses donated hole and door prizes to the tournament. Business donations and in-kind sponsorships, raffle donations and team contributions, were all part of the benefit total.
Floyd Valley Health CEO Dustin Wright says the dollars raised this year will be used for the purchase of equipment for the new OB/Maternal Health Department project. It will be completed in the fall of this year.
First Place Winners of the 18-hole championship flight were: Kroese and Kroese (Pat Visser); Primebank (Gary Sitzmann) and Al Pottebaum teams. The winner of the 50/50 Raffle was Marilyn Wendt.
