Robert ‘Bob’ Michael Kounkel, 72, of rural Le Mars, Iowa, affectionately known by close friends and family as “Tilly”, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 2, 2024, at Trinity Lutheran Church, rural Hinton, Iowa. Reverend Alex Kaldahl will officiate. Burial will follow at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, rural Hinton. Visitation with the family present will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Le Mars. There will be a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will resume from 9:30 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. on Friday at the church. Arrangements are with the Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Le Mars, Iowa.
