Markworth March Hot Shot

MARKWORTH HONORED SATURDAY AS MARCH HOT SHOT

Abram, son of Nate and Laura Markworth, was honored Saturday as a Floyd Valley Healthcare Hot Shot at the Musketeer game against the Omaha Lancers.  Abram is 8 years old and is in the 2nd grade.  He loves to read, build with Legos, learn about history and science and share his knowledge with others.

Abram worked with Christin Konz, OTD on his fine motors skills and emotional regulation due to ADHD.  The family appreciated Christin using Abram’s interests to tailor his therapy and make him more comfortable while learning new skills.  They value the confidence he has gained.

ADHD is one of the most common developmental disorders affecting children, with an estimated 7 million kids in the US being diagnosed.  Treatment can involve a combination of medication, therapy and behavioral health therapy depending on the severity of the symptoms.

Congratulations, Abram, the Floyd Valley Healthcare March Hot Shot!
