Le Mars Community held a successful Homecoming week over the past several days. Several events were held during the celebration of Bulldog pride.
On Monday night, coronation was held, where the Homecoming King and Queen were crowned. Congratulations to the King: Karter Melvin, son of Kate and Tony Melvin, and the Queen: Maggie Wright, daughter of Tifany and Ryan Wright!
Several dress-up days for students occurred during the school week leading up to Friday, when the Homecoming parade took place in downtown Le Mars. The parade route ran along Central Avenue, concluding at the corner of 2nd Street. The parade featured floats from over 60 local businesses and student clubs, as well as marching bands and appearances from Homecoming royalty. The full parade can be streamed on KLEM’s YouTube page.
