With Halloween just days away, the Le Mars Chamber of Commerce and local businesses will bring trick-or-treating early with Halloween Fun, taking place in downtown Le Mars.
Halloween Fun will start at 1 p.m. on Saturday, with local businesses handing out candy to kids and families in costume. Lori French, executive director of the Chamber of Commerce, told KLEM that turnout for the annual event is always high.
French says the event helps to support local businesses as well as to help Le Mars get into the Halloween spirit.
She says her favorite part of the day is seeing kids in their costumes.
French encourages visitors to stop at local shops and restaurants downtown during the event.
Halloween Fun kicks off this Saturday from 1 until 2:30 p.m. along Central Ave in Le Mars.
